Everything in my closet used to be mini. From skirts to shorts, it was all way above my knee. However, as I’ve matured, I find myself gravitating towards less revealing looks. I recall not being the midi style’s biggest fan but now, it’s my preferred cut. I got this floral silk satin midi skirt as season 3 of The White Lotus began and every time I look at this, it transports me to a tropical place. I wanted to keep the focus on the skirt so I kept everything else simple. This ivory silk sleeveless top offers a subtle contrast to the cream color on the skirt but they both tie into my satchel.

Summer is right around the corner and I'm wearing all my florals! I've worn this pink floral bodysuit to work in the past with a hunter green pencil skirt however, I wanted to integrate it into my daily wear. For this look, I paired it with high waisted sailor shorts, my small amaranth Lady Dior and nude two strap bow sandals.

I'm finally done with all my midterms - I wanted to have a new post up much earlier but I've been catching up on much needed sleep! After a brutal week of exams, I hopped into my car and blasted to Los Angeles in the rain to finalize some business details. I don't exactly know my way around LA so I used Siri and she ended up leading me into East LA as a shortcut. Not so great when it's raining, dark and gloomy... After getting stuck in traffic on the way back, I ended back in my hometown of Orange County! Anyways, I had a much needed break this weekend but it's back to the grind in San Diego!
I received this adorable watermelon clutch courtesy of Nylon Shop! I wanted to pair this with an outfit something bright and since it was still a tad bit cold, I decided to pull out my mustard coat from Zara! I believe the juxtaposition of the colors works extremely well and it's a great Spring outfit! Even though some of my clothes only fit certain criteria and/or events - I do love it when I can add something versatile, such as this coat, to my closet! It works for school, work, and play! Plus, the pop of color adds more life to everything!
As for pharmacy school, I cannot believe it's already Week 7! Finals are creeping up and within a blink of an eye, it'll be time to study for the comprehensive exam and PCOA! This quarter is zooming by way too fast! I wish I had a pause button in life just so I could live in the moment and have some time to breathe. Pharmacy school is no joke - if you're not passionate about pursuing a career in the field, you'll just be miserable all throughout school. Sure, I do other things and I still continue with all my hobbies however, I no longer have time to travel or explore with leisure. Anyways, I am so glad I am able to assist so many of you with all your questions and even meet some of you in person! I promise my next post will be Pharmacy related so be on the lookout! A two part post dedicated to Banana Republic goodness! Spring calls for lightweight, strappy sun dresses in ... cue drum roll ... floral print. Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada said it best:

Flowers are always associated with Spring so it's not exactly news or a trend that disappears. Rather, it's something that signifies the arrival of warmer weather and longer days! For this collaboration with Banana Republic, I was generously gifted this petite friendly floral dress from their latest collection. When I first opened the package I knew this piece would become a staple in my closet - I could wear it alone (as pictured) for hotter months yet it's thin enough to pile on layers for colder months. However, my face automatically cringed when I saw that it was a size 0P. My dress size varies tremendously depending on the retailer so I still had a glimmer of hope that I would be able to squeeze my way into this dress. After I zipped myself up, I was honestly speechless at the fit! The shoulder straps fit just right - they didn't dig into my skin nor did they slip off my shoulders. Additionally, the dress hugged my body enough to accentuate my waist but also gave me room to breathe - I could twirl in this dress all day! This denim dress is just perfect for work and/or play! I got the 0 Petite and it was as if the people at Banana tailored it for me! There's an invisible zipper in the back which makes this little number look that more chic. However, there are some things to note about this denim dress. One of the set-backs happens to be the material itself - the blue denim color rubs off. I was able to avoid this since I read the warning was placed on the tag. But if I immediately yanked off the tag, I might not have been that fortunate. Overall, I do like this dress - the length and everything about this makes it work appropriate.
