Before ripping open my package and putting these bad boys on, I took the FIT QUIZ available on the Victoria's Secret website. I usually have a difficult time purchasing bras since I want something a French woman would wear (delicate, seductive yet sophisticated) but I also need it to fit! I have this love-hate relationship with push-up bras but this quiz walks you through all possible problems! For instance, one question asks whether or not you have gaps whenever you wear a bra. This quiz covers practically every problem you might encounter whenever you're trying on a bra. What's the plus side to purchasing the recommended bra through this FIT QUIZ? It's RISK FREE! If you purchase the suggested size but it's still not quite right, you can return it for free - NO shipping or handling charge!
With the increasing temperature in Southern California, the number of outdoor activities rapidly diminishes. Though the beach is my go to spot when I have nothing to do or no place to venture to, I'd rather not burn under the sun. Besides, the parking situation is dreadful. So I have been staying at home or seeking refuge at any air conditioned spot. Today was a bit cooler so I decided to finally wear this Southern Belle ensemble. I do not know how many of you watch Hart of Dixie on the CW but it is one of my favorite shows. Not because of the very interlaced storyline but because of Lemon Breeland's attire! I was mesmerized by her style from the first episode and I cannot wait until the new season begins. The touch of aristocracy this skirt exudes is undeniable plus, the bold necklace adds a special touch of elegance. I decided to pair this with muted salmon platforms and my Proenza Schouler PS11 Clutch.
I just love the soundtrack for Pirates of the Caribbean, don't you? I mean, I have played it for THREE different concerts with a full orchestra. Whenever I feel a bit nostalgic, I whip out my violin to play the piece but it doesn't sound the same solo. The soundtrack to this movie conjures up images of drunken pirates, dark corridors, and it will be forever ingrained in my brain. Anyways, my sheer tank top pictured here with the skull reminded me of Pirates. I love the sequin and embroidery detail as well as the asymmetrical cut of this top. Sure, I do look like I'm not wearing pants from my backside but it's such a great casual summer outfit!
I hope you all had a great weekend! I watched Finding Dory recently with Jonathan and it was just too cute! Baby Dory's glossy eyeballs were to die for! Did you guys see it? I hope you're all enjoying your summer while it's still here! Until next time!

ROMAN NUMERALS on the tungsten ring I recieved c/o of Modern Design. The packaging I recieved for this ring reminded me of Matryoshka dolls, also known as Russian dolls, since it was placed in numerous envelopes and boxes (I posted a picture on my twitter!). Although the tungsten rings featured on their site seem as if they are only fit for males, I believe these rings can also be worn by women. The simplicity of the design demands attention while screaming out power and confidence. The ring itself, is extremely comfortable, lightweight, and durable - I already dropped it numerous times and it has yet to show any visible scratches! I would definitely recommend this ring, or rather this company, Modern Design, to anyone looking for masculine rings or androgynous jewelry to spruce up their personal style. Anyways, I have one more class before finals and then I will be officially DONE with my undergraduate career! Finally, a real summer break...
I received this amazing dress courtesy of SUGARLIPS which can be purchased HERE! The style and material is definitely of much higher quality than I expected! If you guys are looking for an easy, breezy dress to beat the summer heat, this dress fulfills that criteria!
July is quickly drawing to an end and I am excited to be a full time student, again! I know it's an odd sentiment with all the impending sleepless nights I will most likely endure however, I am looking forward to being, as my mentor recently said, intellectually stimulated. I signed up for classes last week and my first quarter already seems insane - I've never taken this many intense courses during a single quarter as an undergrad.
Though I will be focused on school and maintaining good grades, I will still take time to enjoy myself and maintain my blog! If you've read any of my pharmacy related posts, you must know that the theme or rather focus of my blog will shift more into academics (documenting things that I learn or sharing my experience as a student on a week to week basis).
Anyways, this is an outfit I would wear to school! The jeans make this look casual but I couldn't resist layering, even in this heat, to add more depth to my outfit! I recently scored this floral crop top and sheer pleated top at a local fashion store for such a steal - I had to wear them together immediately! This Reed Krakoff Boxer Tote is also great for throwing in school shenanigans since it's extremely sturdy. I hope you guys like this post! Until next time!

I am officially brace free!
I had my braces removed and my friends told me licking my teeth would feel really nice. I thought it was an odd thing to say however, I stand corrected! Eating still feels the same but brushing my teeth is different! These pictures were taken moments after I had my braces removed way back in undergrad!I found this post as I was combing through my old entries! 😉
This was my Independence Day outfit! I hope everyone had an amazing 4th of July! Barbecuing, spending quality time with family, and watching the spectacular fireworks illuminate the sky.
