WARRIOR PRINCESS. How is everyone? Please excuse my absence from the blogosphere! Do you guys ever catch yourself in the midst of an exquisite day dream? Well, I took a Native American class during my second year in college and this dress reminded me of a Pow Wow I attended at UCI! The people I became acquainted with at the event were incredibly nice and VERY generous. Anyways, this led me to imagine myself as a Native American girl running fields of grass, picking food, and prancing around a man built fire! On another note, I received this amazing shift dress complete with leather belt courtesy of Sugarlips! I love how the colors complement each other and the feather leaf leather belt adds a nice touch- it cinches the waist to add more definition to my figure! You can purchase this dress HERE!
EDITED my photos, finally. The only thing I usually do is resize and highlight or remove shadows however, I decided to actually play around with this set of photos. I think these look much better than the originals which were quite bright since the sun was shining directly above me. I'm starting to take fewer photos since it's such a pain to filter through all of them. My mom used to take 600-700 photos per outfit in about 30 minutes! That was, obviously, too much so it's around 200 photos now, whew! Furthermore, I will make an effort to always keep my camera on me so I can document all the little things I do on a daily basis. I believe a quality fashion blog should not only incorporate outfit pictures but also snippets of activities or sights that occurred that particular day.
For those of you who do not have plans on attending a health related graduate school, all I can say is that it's extremely competitive. GPA's must be high (above 3.5 GPA ) and clinical/research/volunteer experiences are crucial to the application. Personal statements, letters of recommendations, lists of activities, and manually typing in my coursework along with my grades... it's going to be fun. If you're one of the lucky ones, you'll be asked to complete and secondary/supplemental application. Hooray to more essays - I love writing so YAY! Then comes interviews. For those who do not know, potential students have to fly/drive to interviews. Sounds fun but it is definitely nerve racking. Can't wait to tell you guys more!
