Nothing screams summer style more than linen pieces. We spent the afternoon wandering around Del Mar and it felt like an appropriate occasion to wear this color block halter linen dress. As much as I love wearing heels, these were not the appropriate shoes for a day at the beach. Nevertheless, it was still a fun outing to stroll along the shops. The sun was right overhead and it was humid so we found some much needed relief with delicious gelato. It's funny how I've been a San Diegan for nearly 10 years yet there's still so much for me to discover and explore!

    That colour-block halter linen dress from Zara looks very comfortable and stylish.
    I like the Channel Sunnies that you accessorised your outfit with.
    On my only visit to San Diego (long ago) I did not visit Del Mar.
    It looks like a fabulous place to shop!
