Home improvement and home goods stores are becoming my second home! I frequent them so often that I'm beginning to memorize the store layout. For those who are new here, I bought a home not too long ago and I'm slowly bringing it to life. It really does require a lot of effort and there's still so much to do. For these very casual errand outings, I like wearing things that are comfortable and smart. This corduroy blazer with elbow patches is something that has been in my closet since undergrad and it still looks good! I'm a millennial so I really don't think I'll ever be able to part with skinny jeans... I love high waisted ones because they make my legs look so much longer! They're also perfect with knee high and OTK boots. Happy Friday!

Spent the day around Downtown San Diego and tried a new pizza joint that came highly recommended. I wore this blue look for the occasion and if you've been here for a while, you may have noticed that I'm accumulating quite a few blue colored items. This periwinkle coat is my go-to for work as it is for my every day. I layered it on top of my striped silk collar button down and high waisted sailor shorts. I wanted to add a little more personality so I paired this look with my 3D floral Kate Spade satchel.

Spring is notoriously fickle. The day starts off cold, cools off midday, warms up by 20 degrees in the afternoon and then dips drastically as soon as the sun disappears into the horizon. I try to be as prepared as possible whenever I'm outdoors... also, I get cold pretty fast so I make sure I have at least a light jacket nearby at all times. I love this floral dot one from Anthropologie. It screams Spring and it's extremely versatile. I paired it with a periwinkle midi pleated skirt for a girly Parisian outfit.

New things are coming and I'm excited! It's pretty much set in stone but I'll be making the announcement on my Instagram very soon; make sure to follow me @adriennenguyenn. Spring is a season that fosters growth and new beginnings. I'm ready to embrace it wholeheartedly as I enter a new chapter in my life. To welcome this change, I'm wore this boat neck silk dress with my Boyy bag and nude ankle strap heels.
