Polka dots are such a classic print that work irrespective of season and style. It's still pretty warm so I'm able to wear dresses without layering up... I wanted to take advantage of the sun while it still makes an appearance on this side of the equator. I paired this black and white cap sleeve ruched dress with a floppy sun hat and minimal accessories. Even though I don't drink, this is would be an outfit I'd wear to a vineyard.

A simple outfit to say adieu to the Summer season. I wanted the focus to remain on the dress so I kept my accessories in the same color family. I hope you enjoy this final bout of warm weather before colder temperature creep up!

Happy Labor Day Weekend! The holiday that signifies the end of Summer and transition into Fall... For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you know that my company is headquartered is in San Francisco so I travel there quite often. The Bay Area is known for its gloomy, windy weather and even if the sun makes an appearance, it's quite brisk and cold in South San Francisco. I love experiencing both ends of the spectrum within the month.... from the warm weather in SoCal to the chill in NorCal. I'm going to miss that once colder weather hits my area. I'm wearing all my sun dresses and lighter items before the temperature officially takes a dip.

For this outfit, I was inspired by the garden and wore a purple floral look with accessories that complemented my dress. This dress has dust rose, violet, navy blue and black tones so I paired it with my dust pink statement necklace, amaranth bag, nude bow sandals and black sunnies.

I hope you're having a wonderful summer! I cannot believe August is coming to an end so rapidly! There's so much that has happened in my life since my last post; keep updated with me on my instagram @adriennenguyenn. I spent 4th of July weekend in Las Vegas and to say it was hot and humid would be an understatement. It felt so cool inside the hotels and casinos but once we stepped foot outside, it was a sweat fest. Too keep cool, I wore this two piece set! I ended up with some odd tans but it was worth it!

I rarely wear patriotic outfits outdoors however, the only exception I make are for national holidays! I wore one of my signature looks for the occasion: a blazer and sweater vest. I paired this preppy old money combo with casual denim shorts and red sneakers. This look is perfect for running around and spending the night outdoors watching fireworks.

With all the chaos unfolding in the world, it makes it difficult to enjoy the Fourth of July. At times, I wanted to stop consuming the news because it reflects a world in constant conflict. However, the unity of people during tough times gives me hope. To stand up against injustice and support one another is what makes Americans strong. I'm wishing you a wonderful 4th.

For days where the weather fluctuates often, I always make sure I have a light jacket on me. I wanted to add some flavor so I pulled out my floral wide legged bottoms. Since it was already busy on the bottom, I kept it simple above with my butter yellow top and khaki shacket. I added this top to my collection prior to the pandemic but I didn't really know how to style it. Butter yellow blew up this past year so I created a Spring themed outfit!

I used to spend so much time at their fabrics and crafts stores especially during the holidays! Sad to see them go! I also stopped by Ulta to pick up some make-up for my next trip.
