It's beginning to feel like Summer! I was able to wear this chartreuse v-neck midi dress and my new platform sandals! I love walking around outdoors so when the temperature finally complied with the season, I took the opportunity to wear a brightly colored dress. I wanted the focus on my dress so I wore neutral colored accessories from my sunhat to my bucket bag!
If you're looking for an epic location to take pictures, head to Scripps Coastal Meander Trailhead. It's surprisingly empty though I believe it's due to the lack of parking options. I was able to snag one of the few 1 hour coastal parking spots right at the staircase entrance. Other than the 3 or 4 spots right in front, I'm not exactly sure where you can park to walk to this location. Regardless, if you're ever in La Jolla, be sure to add this spot to your bucket list for unobstructed views of the coast and pier!

All you need is a good blazer. This navy blue gingham blazer is the perfect addition to my work wear wardrobe as it is to my casual outfit rotation. For this look, I paired it with a silk shell top, high waisted pleated shorts and backless loafers.
We spent most of the day around Liberty Public Market and I must say... it's always crowded whenever we decide to make a trip here. We walked around, grabbed some empanadas, and even though there was a wait, we finally ate brunch at Cocina 35. Afterwards, we ventured off to The Salk Institute to catch the sunset.
