Thanksgiving is just around the corner! I have a Physiology quiz, Physiology lab report, and Language and Brain midterm to get out of the way by the end of Tuesday but after that, I'm free - I'm in dire need of a break! Black Friday shopping last year was insane and I came home empty handed however, I plan on going again this year! The atmosphere creates an adrenaline rush as everyone is frantically trying to get their hands on some of the best deals of the season. I believe my family is planning on going to South Coast Plaza but our plans may change.
Anyways, my mom and I went out for lunch yesterday and this is the outfit I wore! My mom made the dress featured in this post and I received so many compliments! As for my necklace and sunnies: you can purchase them from my sponsor, OASAP (necklace: purchase HERE // Sunnies: purchase HERE).

European Aesthetic. The temperature is continuously decreasing and I am definitely prepared for the harsh cold, winds that come along with Autumn/Winter! Anyways, I used to be an active photographer and I even had a deviantart account. However, the time I devoted to photography ceased when I stepped foot into college. I was debating on whether or not to take a photography class next quarter just so I can take pictures again....
As for this outfit, I ordered this dress from OASAP.com a few weeks ago and it just came in! I ripped opened the package and I put it on right away. I was a bit skeptical about getting this item since it is only available in one size and it was displayed on a mannequin however, it looks amazing in real life. You can purchase this same dress HERE. It's fully lined, the arm length fits just right, and so does the length of the dress. (I'm 5'2).
You guys can also read an interview I did HERE for "8 questions blog."

SKYFALL. The new Bond movie is coming out this Friday - I'm in love with the piano version of Adele's Skyfall! Just when I thought the weather in California was beginning to cool down, it becomes toasty, AGAIN! It's predicted that it will be 90 degrees Fahrenheit tomorrow but at least I can find refuge in the basement of the library... practically no one is down there before noon! Anyways, for those of you who are following me on twitter and instagram, you already know that I was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars on Saturday! I started reminiscing about National Junior Honor Society in junior high... oh I miss the good ole days where I didn't have to worry about anything. At the event, all of the new members were asked to come up onto the stage and take a pledge. As we came up single file, our names were read off respectively from name cards. I stood there, hands in my dress pockets and it was my turn. I looked up at the girl who was announcing the names, smiled, and she said "Andrea Ly Nguyen." Then my grin turned into a (-_-) Seriously? How does Adrienne Nguyen turn into that? I understand that people have a hard time spelling my name since there are so many variations but hard time pronouncing it? That's a first.
