Circle, Circle, Dot, Dot

Experiencing beautiful weather in Orange County.

I thought I would take a break from studying to go take outfit pictures and do some shopping, of course! I went to South Coast and honestly, who can leave empty handed? I might be back on my blogging hiatus soon since finals are approaching! Hope you guys understand! (:

I hope you guys are having a wonderful Memorial Weekend!

A Wild Purr-spective

Please excuse my blogging hiatus!

I was studying for my Microbiology quiz and now that it's out of the way, I have to catch up on Physics! I cannot believe that finals are right around the corner-I'm approaching my last year as an undergraduate! Speaking of classes, I was able to enroll into Physiology Lab (I find dissections exciting- minus the odor, of course!). However when my enrollment window opened, Immunology was full! I'm hoping people drop out of the class during the summer or when school starts in Fall- I really want to take that class. I also wanted to take Virology but I heard that the professor is extremely hard and the material is dense... so I am currently enrolled in Brain Disorders and Plant Biology along with Physiology Lab.

The weather has been AMAZING for the past few days but the meteorologist states that it will rain on Friday! I hope it doesn't since I have Physics and I will be volunteering with Music to Heal. This is a great organization that allows students, like myself, to play in the hospital for patients and staff! My first time volunteering was last week and I could not believe how appreciative the patients, nurses and doctors were! I was surprised by the fact that I interacted with so many people- much more than when I was simply a volunteer at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital!

This is yet another dress my mom made for me! I'm hoping on starting an online boutique soon... hopefully I have time this summer!

Demure Flowers

I found this amazing vineyard that's about 5 minutes from my house! I could not believe that such a great backdrop was around my area however, it does not override my desire to visit Napa Valley! It's in a business complex which, I'm assuming, specializes in the production of wine! I will definitely return to this location for more outfit posts! My mom took a lot of pictures but I looked frazzled in the majority of them- probably because it was scorching in the mid-afternoon!

Oh, this is the outfit I wore on Mother's Day! I took pictures of my mom but she does not want any images of herself to be surfacing online, haha! I wanted to take a picture of us together but there was just no safe place to set the camera and then we forgot about it as the day continued on.

I have a quiz for Microbiology next Tuesday so I will be concentrating on that all weekend. There's so much material to grasp in so little time! Plus, I have to pick classes I want to take next school year since I will be registering early next week!

Moving Colors

Hello! I hope all of you are enjoying your week so far whether it may be at school or at work! I really wish my classes were offered earlier in the morning so I could escape the scorching heat! I'm pretty fried on Thursdays since I'm at school all day-I start off with an 8AM Physics Lab - What joy!

Although I live in California, I hate tanning! I love going to the beach since it's so close to my home and school but I don't like being out in the sun! I'm full of contradictions, haha! I honestly cannot believe that my third year in college is almost over! Just one more year as an undergraduate! This summer will definitely not be relaxing since I will be taking a Physics Lab (last one!!), Scientific Writing, research, and I will be signing up for extra classes.

Flower Bomb

My mom and I decided to have Mother's Day lunch instead of dinner this year since I did not make any reservations. I wanted to find a beachfront restaurant but they were extremely packed so we opted for California Pizza Kitchen! The food and drinks tasted quite different, I'm thinking they hired a new chef at the location my mom and I usually eat. Afterward, we went out to look for a painting/portrait for our living room. The portrait that is currently hanging is a bit lopsided, haha!

We got home pretty late, took off our heels and then I realized we didn't take any pictures together! Oh, this isn't the outfit I wore on Mother's Day. I will post that up soon! Anyways, I decided to take pictures of my mom and her outfit too! Stay tuned!

Oh! As for my hair, I always wanted to try the Chanel inspired Lady Gaga hair look so I attempted it and voila! At first, I tried the sock bun but my hair was flying all over the place so I decided to make it into a bow and it stayed!

Country Strong

The heat in Southern California is hitting extreme highs. I have been meaning to take outfit pictures at UCI but I do not want to lug around my camera and besides, I do not have a photographer. The location for these pictures is Whitter Law School- I was on my way to South Coast Plaza with my mom so we decided to pull over. Afterwards, my mom wanted to try Sonic's to see what all the hype was all about. According to her, she has eaten better burgers elsewhere!

I tend to spend a lot of time deciding what to wear in the morning and I come home to a disaster on my bed! Do you ever face this horror? Haha. Since the temperature spiked over the past few days, I decided to wear a laid back, country inspired look. I attempted a side brain in the morning but my hair just wouldn't get into position. My hair might look really "crunchy" in these pictures due to all the hairspray! Furthermore, my headpiece is actually a necklace from Limited Too. Yes, I am aware that it is a children's store- I used to shop there when I was in middle school; they had the coolest journals and accessories! I was rummaging through my jewelry case for a headpiece and came to a realization that I  do not own any bohemian hair accessories. As a result, this heart necklace was transformed into a head wrap!
