Orange Crush

My week and a half of summer is over!

I will commence school in approximately 8 hours! I am only taking Scientific Writing and Physics 3C Lab this summer. As of now, I am reviewing General Chemistry- I actually miss doing reactions! Textbooks from various courses can be found in every corner of my room! I already planned out a schedule of what subjects to complete during each week and hopefully I can  refresh my memory within the time frames I have allocated - I know, I'm an organized freak!

As for this dress, it was a complete score at Macy's! I also got a bunch of other things at insanely reasonable prices which I will, of course, feature on my blog!

Nautical Opulence

A nautical look just fit for the serene atmosphere Balboa Island emits.

Boats can be found littered along the coastline with residents jogging on the walkway, gardening, or barbecuing. Tight alleyways, ocean front houses, one way streets and the cute marketplace makes this place seem extremely peaceful - time seems to stand still even though the residents are scurrying around.

Jonathan took these pictures and I realized that I have a lot of face shots in this particular post. Anyways, my feet were in utter pain after Jonathan and I walked up and down the pathway thus I had to walk barefooted back the the car. Makes sense since I was wearing my mom's shoes (she's a size 6 1/2 and I'm a 7 1/2 !). I will definitely bring an extra pair of shoes the next time I go out!

Hope you guys enjoy reading and/or looking at this post!

Garden Party

Hello everyone! I'm back to my normal lifestyle and I'm now on LOOKBOOK; don't forget to HYPE MY LOOK!

I had a lot of company for the past week with my aunt, uncle and cousin visiting from Vietnam. In addition to that, my two cousins and uncle, who live in California, also came by! On their last day, we did some more shopping and then they went out for Korean BBQ. I, unfortunately, cannot eat any due to my pancreas so I opted out for sushi. Afterwards, I went out to buy peanut M&M's and 3 Musketeers for my little cousin and we were off to the airport. They decided to go in early so we could go home but we ended up being stuck in traffic for 3 hours! The Southbound 405 was closed due to some construction so we exited at Studebaker, drove around and eventually found CSULB. We then took PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) all the way home...quite a long drive!

I wanted to take outfit pictures but my mom was busy catching up and shopping with her sister. My aunt spoiled my cousins and I with a plethora of gifts which will be seen on my blog in the near future.

So I asked my cousin and I must say, it was a complete fail! These pictures, however, were taken by my mom the day after they left (yesterday). This has to be one of my favorite dresses from Zara. It doesn't require any accessories since the fabric itself already provides "fullness" to the look however I  decided to pair this with bright orange sunnies, a bright pink handbag, and green sandals!
